Kathmandu. There has been a decline in the deposits of banks. Due to the festive season, banking deposits have decreased. During one week, bank deposits decreased by 17 billion 13 billion rupees. According to the Nepal Bankers Association, the deposits of banks were 45 trillion 41 billion rupees. However, when it reached 28th October, it decreased to 45 trillion 24 billion.
According to the Nepal Bankers Association, there has been an increase in lending during that period. According to the association, the loan disbursement has increased by Rs 56 crore in a week. Along with this, until November 11th, banks have provided loans worth Rs. Banks had disbursed loans of 42 trillion 24 billion 85 million 55 thousand rupees till 4th of October.
During that period, the loan-deposit ratio (CD ratio) of banks increased and reached 87.58 percent. Before that, till October 4th, this ratio of banks was 87.23 percent.
