Kathmandu. The claim of corona insurance, which has been stopped for a long time, is going to be paid. Insurance companies are going to pay the claims of Corona insurance. In a meeting held by Insurance Authority Chairman Surya Prasad Silwal in Rohbar on November 6, it was decided to pay the claim amount from Tuesday.

1 billion 81 crore rupees will be paid out of the remaining amount of Corona insurance claim payment. According to the Nepal Insurance Association, the priority of payment is given to individuals and families.

Considering the 1 billion from the government as 55 percent, the remaining 45 percent (81 million 81 million) was added by the Bima Samiti, Nepal Reinsurance Company and Nirjeevan Insurance Company to make a total payment of 1 billion 81 million 81 million. According to the modality, the insurance committee would add 8 percent, Nepal Reinsurance Company 12 percent and insurance companies 25 percent of the 45 percent amount.

Some time ago, the government released 1 billion rupees for the payment of claims of corona insurance, which had been stopped for a long time. The amount has been sent to the account of Nepal Insurance Association. The government has added a subsidy amount of 23.364 thousand 116 rupees for corona insurance and a total of 12 billion 32.5 million 35 thousand 670 rupees has yet to be paid.
