Kathmandu. Nepal SBI Bank Limited has proposed a total dividend of 10.53 percent for the last financial year 078/79. The meeting of the board of directors of the bank on 28th November fixed the paid-up capital of Rs. On the basis of 9 billion 82 crore 58 lakh 53 thousand, 3 percent bonus shares and 7.53 percent cash dividend have been proposed for tax purposes.

This year the bank has emphasized on cash dividend. This proposed dividend will be distributed only after the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and the approval of the next annual general meeting of the bank.

Nepal SBI Bank will be able to distribute 14.74 percent dividend from last year's profit. According to the fourth quarter financial statement of the bank last year, the paid-up capital is 9 billion 82 crore 58 lakh 53 thousand rupees and the distributable profit is 1 billion 44 crore 88 lakh 5 thousand rupees. Based on this, the bank has the ability to distribute 14.74 percent dividend.
