Kathmandu. 19 life insurance companies in operation have set aside more than 19.5 million rupees for employee bonus arrangements. According to the financial report of the companies, 197.78 million 67 thousand rupees have been allocated for employee bonus arrangements. This is the data till the end of October of the current year. Which is 59.93 percent more than the same period of the previous year. By the end of October last year, the companies had allocated 1237 million 21 thousand rupees for the bonus of the employees.
During that period, the most amount has been allocated for the bonus arrangement of the employees. The company has allocated an amount of Rs. 2 crore 55 lakh 64 thousand. Compared to last year, only 44 lakh 26 thousand rupees were allocated.
Surya Life has been seen in the second position of providing many bonuses to employees. The company has set aside an amount of 23.39 million rupees for the bonus of the employees till the end of October of the current year. Compared to the same period last year, it is 82.53 percent more. Jyoti Life, which is in third place, has allocated Rs 2 crore 39 lakh 19 thousand.
The current year, Life Nepal Corporation has allotted the lowest amount of 14 lakh 55 thousand rupees for employee bonus. During that period, Sun Nepal Life paid 1 crore 67 lakh 10 thousand rupees, Reliance Life 1 crore 46 lakh 42 thousand rupees, National Life 1 crore 41 lakh 83 thousand rupees, Asian Life 1 crore 3 lakh rupees, Met Life 1 crore 6 lakh rupees, Reliaval Nepal has allocated 1 crore rupees.
Similarly, Citizens Life 78 lakh 18 thousand, IME Life 72 lakh 57 thousand, Gurans Life 63 lakh 50 thousand, Prime Life 58 lakh 40 thousand, Sanima Life 56 lakh 31 thousand, Prabhu Life 37 lakh 74 thousand, Mahalakshmi Life 36 lakh 26 thousand Rs. has been earmarked for employee bonus arrangements.
Similarly, in the first three months of the current year, Union Life has allocated Rs. 27 lakh 83 thousand and National Insurance Institute has allocated Rs. 15 lakh 44 thousand for the bonus arrangement of employees.
