Kathmandu. Deposits in banks and financial institutions have started to increase. Deposits in banks and financial institutions increased by 8 billion rupees in one day. According to the statistics of Nepal Rastra Bank, the deposits which were 52 trillion 20 billion rupees on November 26th increased to 52 trillion 28 billion rupees in one day (November 27th). During that period, the loan disbursement decreased by 2 billion to 47 trillion 58 billion rupees.
Recently, the deposit growth of commercial banks has started to increase. Deposits of commercial banks increased by 7 billion rupees in one day to 46 billion 7 billion rupees. On the 27th of November, only 46 trillion rupees were deposited in the banks.
According to the National Bank, loan disbursement has decreased. During that period, the credit flow of commercial banks decreased by 2 billion rupees to 42 trillion rupees. Last Tuesday, banks' loan disbursement was 42 trillion 14 billion rupees. During that period, the CD ratio of banks decreased slightly and remained at 86.15 percent, according to the Rastra Bank.
