Kathmandu. Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has received the support of three more MPs to make him the Prime Minister.

Prachanda said that he has the support of the majority of the members of the House of Representatives, while submitting his claim for the post of Prime Minister, he received the support of three more MPs.

With the support of UML, Maoists, RPP, JSP, Rashtriya Swatantra Party, Janmat and Citizens' Freedom Party and independent parliamentarians Prabhu Shah, Amresh Kumar Singh and Kiran Kumar Shah, Prachanda has submitted the claim to President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

The one-week period given by President Bidya Devi Bhandari to claim the post of Prime Minister in accordance with Article 76 (2) of the Constitution on December 3 ended at 5 pm on Sunday. However, before the time ran out, Prachanda reached Rashtrati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas and submitted his claim with the support of 169 MPs.
