During that period, the country's trade deficit was 7 trillion 11 billion 85 million 88 million 68 thousand rupees. The trade deficit has decreased by 19.15 percent compared to the end of December last financial year. In the same period last year, Nepal suffered a trade loss of 8 trillion 80 billion 49 crore 17 lakh 47 thousand rupees.

Similarly, during that period, the total trade of the country was equal to 8 trillion 73 billion 47 billion 37 million 10 thousand rupees. This is a decrease of 21.89 percent compared to the end of December last year. During the same period last year, the total trade of the country was 11 trillion 18 billion 1936 million 68 thousand rupees.

According to the department, in the 6 months of the current year, a total of 7 trillion 92 billion 66 crores have been imported. Compared to last year, imports have decreased by 20.68 percent. In the same period last year, the import was worth 9 trillion 99 billion 34 crore 27 lakh 8 thousand rupees.

Similarly, in the 6 months of the current year, only 80 billion 807 million 21 thousand rupees worth of exports have been exported. Compared to the same period of last year, exports are 32.1 percent less.
