Kathmandu. Interest rates have been raised again in Europe. The European Central Bank (ECB) has increased interest rates. Along with this, interest rates in Europe have reached their highest level since 2000. The ECB has increased the interest rate on deposits in 20 countries in the European region to 3.75 percent. Earlier such rate was 3.5 percent. The ECB has said that the interest rate has to be increased to control the high level of inflation.
