Kathmandu - The outbreak of viral fever has increased in Thaha municipality and Hetauda sub-metropolitan area of Makwanpur. According to the District Health Office, daily 60 to 75 people are coming to the health post and primary health center under Thaha municipality for treatment of viral fever patients.

Laxman Ghimire, information officer of the office, informed that 12 to 17 people are being admitted to the health institution and treated daily among the fever patients who come for treatment. According to the District Health Office, some patients with fever have been sent to Hetauda Hospital and Chitwan Hospital for further treatment.

District Health Office Information Officer Ghimire informed that the manpower needed to control dengue infection and viral fever in Makwanpur has been put on alert.
