Kathmandu. The salaries of commercial bank employees have increased by 2.25 billion rupees. Similarly, NIC Asia Bank has increased its salary by 8.36 percent to Rs 2.54 billion 546 million, Sanima Bank has increased its salary by 7.92 percent to Rs 1.23 billion 42 million, Machhapuchhre Bank has increased its salary by 7.17 percent to Rs 1.65 billion 59 million, and Siddhartha Bank has increased its salary by 6.66 percent to Rs 2.64 billion.
Prabhu Bank increased its salary expenditure by 6.54 percent to Rs 2.79 billion, Citizens Bank increased its salary expenditure by 4.89 percent to Rs 1.30 billion, Everest Bank increased its salary expenditure by 4.66 percent to Rs 1.36 billion, and Nepal Bank increased its salary expenditure by 2.71 percent to Rs 2.75 billion.
According to the National Bank, Global IME Bank increased its salary expenditure by 2.05 percent to Rs 2.94 billion, Nepal SBI Bank increased its salary expenditure by 0.64 percent to Rs 1.15 billion, and Standard Chartered Bank increased its salary expenditure by 0.31 percent to Rs 789 million.
However, Nabil Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Kumari Bank, and Krishi Bikas Bank have reduced their salary expenditure. Nabil Bank's salary expenditure has decreased the most during the review period. Nabil Bank has decreased its salary expenditure by 5.43 percent to Rs 2.85 billion. In Chaitra last year, this bank paid Rs 3.166 billion in salaries.
Similarly, Kumari Bank has paid a 0.77 percent decrease to Rs 3.54 billion and Krishi Bikas Bank has paid a 0.15 percent decrease to Rs 2.74 billion.
