Kathmandu. In view of the global corona infection, the Insurance Committee of Nepal has launched a new corona insurance scheme.

Chairman of the committee Chiranjeevi Chapagain has formally started by purchasing the first insurance to Covid-19 disease.

Although the government will provide treatment after the corona virus infection, the insurance article has been issued keeping in mind the financial condition of the infected person.

The committee has divided the insurance policy into two groups. The first insurance policy is worth Rs One lac. It will cost Rs 1,000 per person to purchase the scheme. If you have family or institutional insurance, it will cost an additional Rs. The second plan is equivalent to Rs. 50,000. The plan will cost Rs. 500 per person for purchase and an additional Rs. 300 per person for group insurance of all members of five families or organizations.
