State published annual budget 2077/78,  Priority  control to Corona Covid-19

The government has made public the budget of the state for the fiscal year 2077/78. For the Fiscal Year 2077/78, all the seven state governments have allocated budget by giving priority to control of Corona epidemic.

Bagmati State budget of Rs. 51.42 billion is a priority for the local level

The Bagmati state government has brought a budget of Rs. 51.42 billion for the coming fiscal year 2077/78.

51.12 percent or 26.28 billion 73.35 million of the public budget has been allocated for current expenditure and 48.88 percent or 25.14 billion one million 59 thousand has been allocated for capital expenditure.

To bring the taxable areas within the state under the tax net, to widen the tax range by making the tax circulation and rates relative to time, to simplify the process and increase the use of information technology to ensure efficient, sound revenue administration, control revenue leakage and study the tax and non-tax areas of the state. A working group with experts has been formed to search for the resources of the state government.

 the budget has given high priority to increasing the scope of testing, adding PCR testing labs, case investigation, contract tracing and testing management.

The Bagmati state government has allocated Rs. 194.4 million for the provision of incentive allowance and quarantine management to the health workers deployed for corona control.

A sum of Rs. 266.8 million has been allocated for the expansion of the health service center and Rs. 563 million has been allocated for the physical infrastructure of the hospitals under the state to keep the mortuary clean.

State 2 has a budget of Rs. 33.56 billion

The state government has presented a budget of Rs. 33.56 billion for the coming fiscal year 2077/78.

In the budget presented by the state's economic affairs and planning minister Vijay Kumar Yadav in the state assembly on Monday, Rs 15.42 billion has been allocated for the current account.

Similarly, Rs. 17 billion 97.82 million 91 thousand has been allocated for capital and Rs. 160 million for financial management.

The budget has been allocated by giving priority to corona epidemic prevention and control, health sector reform, agriculture, employment and education sector. Similarly, emphasis has been given in the budget for the development of tourism and environment and agro-based industries.

The state government has allocated Rs. 702.7 million for the identification, prevention, control and treatment of Kovid-19 epidemic.

Similarly, Rs. 455.3 million has been allocated in the budget to transform Janakpur Provincial Hospital into a health science academy.

The budget of the Far Western Province is 33.28 billion

The Far-Western Provincial Government has brought a budget of Rs. 33 billion for the coming Fiscal Year 077/78. Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Jhapat Bohara presented a budget of Rs 33.28 billion in the state assembly on Monday.

MPs from far-western states will also be able to spend Rs 30 million in the budget. A budget of Rs. 960 million has been allocated at the rate of Rs. 30 million in each constituency.

The budget has given priority to health, agriculture, roads, drinking water, irrigation, energy, embankment and other infrastructure development. The budget also gives priority to self-employment programs for those who have lost their jobs due to corona.

Sudarpaschi Pradesh is going to celebrate the coming fiscal year as the year of health care reform. The state government has allocated Rs. 3.26 billion for this.

The government has allocated Rs. 199.5 million for the construction of health infrastructures.

The state government has allocated Rs. 51.5 million for the construction of 10-bed hospitals in seven districts.

The state government has allocated Rs 1.55 billion for the control of the epidemic in Karnali.

About 9 percent of the budget has been allocated for the health sector including innovative and far-reaching programs including making the state hospital a 300-bed teaching hospital, setting up a trauma hospital in Rakum Karnali, the concept of a mobile hospital and operating telemedicine services.

The budget of Province 5 is 36.35 billion

Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel, who is also in charge of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning, presented a budget of Rs 36.35 billion for the coming fiscal year at a meeting of the five state assemblies on Monday.

Chief Minister Pokharel informed that Rs. 5.14 billion has been allocated for the local level financial transfer program.

A sum of Rs 10 million has been allocated to start construction of a hospital in Kapilvastu district, which has the highest incidence of Kovid-19 epidemic in the state.

The budget states that Rukum East Hospital, Rolpa Hospital, Kapilvastu Hospital, Arghakhanchi Hospital, Palpa Hospital and Bhim Hospital will be upgraded to 50 beds as per the policy of upgrading hospitals to 50 bed beds. The state government has allocated Rs 150 million for this.

I have allocated Rs. 23.7 million for capacity building of manpower in the health sector and Rs. 10 million for sustainable supply of manpower.

Gandaki has a budget of Rs 34.84 billion

The Gandaki state government has allocated a budget of Rs. 34.84 billion for the coming fiscal year 20770/78. At the 19th meeting of the sixth session of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly, Minister for Economic Planning Kiran Gurung presented the budget with estimates of the annual income and expenditure of the province.

As per the budget presented in the state assembly, Rs. 19 billion, 999.47 million has been allocated for capital, Rs. 14 billion, 34 crore, 26.84 million for current and Rs. 500 million for financial management.

The state has announced to create a fund of Rs 2.91 billion. The government has also announced a business life protection fund of Rs 1 billion to protect those affected by COVID-19.

Presenting the budget, Gandaki Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Kiran Gurung announced that a special program worth Rs 2 billion would be introduced.

State 1's budget is 40.89 billion

The state government has made public the budget of Rs. 40.89 billion for the coming Fiscal Year 2077/78. Presenting the budget in the state assembly on Monday, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of State 1, Indra Bahadur Angbo, said that Rs 21.92 billion has been allocated for capital expenditure and Rs 18.93 billion for current expenditure. The budget has allocated Rs. 2.86 billion for intergovernmental finance transfer and Rs. 40 million for financial management.

Through Jet, the government has taken the policy of providing subsidy on interest on agricultural loans up to Rs. 500,000 targeting small farmers who do not have access to agricultural loans.

Koshi Hospital will be operated as a contagious disease hospital and research center. In the budget, Rs. 500 million has been allocated for the necessary medicines and equipments.

The state government has allocated Rs. 230 million for the management of intensive care unit including CT scan, hemodialysis service and ventilator by improving the quality of Mechi Hospital.
