Nepse index declined by 4.47 points, the transaction amount increased by 1 billion

Kathmandu. On Thursday, the last trading day of the year, the Nepse index closed down 4.47 points. The share transaction amount has increased. Shares worth more than Rs 2.84 billion have been traded.

A total of 91,23,896 shares of 200 companies were traded 35,335 times. Prime Commercial Bank Limited has bought and sold the highest priced shares. Shares of the company worth more than Rs 20.84 crore have been bought and sold.

The biggest gainers were Sanima General Insurance Company, Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited, Gorkha Finance Limited and Sindhu Vikas Bank Limited. The company's share price has risen more than 9 percent.

Of the 12 groups that came into business, the index of 4 groups has increased while the index of the remaining groups has decreased. The hotel group increased by 0.28 percent, development bank group by 0.24 percent, hydropower group by 0.98 percent and life insurance group by 0.01 percent.
