Life Insurance index over 10,000 for the first time

The NEPSE gaining 25.98 points and  closed at 1,678.79 25th Kartik 2077 (10 Nov 2020). 9,657,677 shares exchanged hands via 38,634 transactions. Trading of 196 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs. 4.09 Arba. This is the fifth-highest intraday turnover in all of NEPSE's history.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 28.53 crores. It closed at Rs. 961 today. Meanwhile, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL)'s shares traded the most. KSBBL closed at Rs. 233 today.

The Life Insurance index closed above the 10,000 index level for the first time today. With this, the sector has created a new high. The sector gained 4.87% and closed at 10,251.22.
