American biotech company Mordana on Monday announced the success of the Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccine is claimed to be more effective than previous vaccines. The vaccine is claimed to be 94.5 percent effective in protecting corona patients.

With the news of the success of this new vaccine, the Indian market has set a new record. The BSI Sensex, which opened after the Diwali holiday, has reached over 44,000.

The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies had crossed Rs 1.7 trillion. The Sensex touched a new high of 44,161.16 and the Nifty touched a new high of 12,934.05 in early trade on Tuesday. According to Indian media, both the indexes are still high during the trading session.

Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan, which represents the Asian market, rose 0.17 percent. The indicator had reached a high level on Monday. On the same day, both the benchmarks of Singapore and Indonesia led the Asian stock market with a rise of 1 percent.

Shares of Hong Kong rose 0.1 percent and Australia's S&P / ASX 200 rose 0.23 percent. Japan's Nikkei 225 index, which reached a 29-year high a day earlier, rose 0.24 percent.
