The Sensitive Index also rose 1.28 percent to 349 points. A total of 1,17,48,520 shares of 196 companies have been traded for 49,783 times at a price of Rs 5.44 billion.
The highest bidder was NIC Asia Bank. Shares of the bank worth more than Rs 373.3 million have been bought and sold. Today, the share price of NIC Asia Bank stood at Rs 697. Similarly, shares of Nepal Telecom Company Limited worth Rs 285.1 million and Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited worth more than Rs 258.2 million have been bought and sold.
Shares of Bottles Nepal (Terai) Limited rose the most on Tuesday. The company's share price has risen 9.99 percent. The company's share price today stood at Rs 10,400.
Of the 12 groups that came into business, the index of 11 groups has increased while the index of the remaining hotel groups has decreased. The group's index fell 1.65 percent. Today, the highest indicator growth has been in the industry group. The index for this group increased by 8.23 percent.
