Nepse all time high of 1968.27 points of Nepal, Rs 9.22 billion more shares traded

The continuously rising stock market closed at 75.02 points on Sunday. The Nepse index closed at its all-time high of 1968.27. The transaction amount has also set a historical record in the market where the number has increased.

Shares worth over Rs 9.22 billion were traded today as compared to Rs 7 billion on Thursday. A total of 259,45,380 shares of 200 companies have been bought and sold.

The biggest gainers were Green Development Bank, Century Commercial Bank and Nepal Investment Bank Limited. The share price of these banks has risen by 10 percent.

The biggest loser in the share price is Vishal Bazar Company Limited. The company's share price has fallen 10 percent.

Similarly, the highest priced shares have been bought and sold by Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited. Shares of the company worth more than Rs 517.91 million have been bought and sold. The company's share price has stood at Rs 1,371.

 Of the 12 groups traded, the index of eight groups has increased while the index of the remaining groups has decreased. Industry group declined by 1.52 percent, hotel group by 0.38 percent, non-life insurance group by 0.47 percent and manufacturing and processing group by 0.85 percent. The highest indicator growth has been in the Development Bank Group. The index for this group is 8.11 percent. Similarly, the banking group index also increased by 7.81 percent.
