Kathmandu. The salary facility of Roshan Neupane, Chief Executive Officer of NIC Asia Bank has been increased by Rs. 3.7 million in one year.
According to the bank's annual report, Neupane has paid Rs 25 million in the last fiscal year 2076/77. Neupane has to pay about 36 percent income tax.
In the fiscal year 2075/76, Neupane had received a salary facility of Rs. 21.3 million.
Apart from salary and bonus, the bank has provided Neupane with driver's car and other facilities.
NIC Asia Bank has given 19 percent bonus share and 1 percent cash dividend to the shareholders from last year's profit.
Similarly, Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Bank Ganesh Raj Pokhrel has received a salary allowance of Rs 13.1 million in the last fiscal year 2076/77. The bank has made public in its annual report that it has paid income tax of Rs. 62 lakh 28 thousand 229 to the government.
After deducting income tax, Pokhrel has collected Rs 69.61 lakh from the bank last year. Apart from salary allowance, Pokhrel also gets bonus. The bank, including the driver, provides the vehicle to CEO Pokhrel.
