There are half a dozen competitors to become the Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. Both the posts of Deputy Governor of NRB will be vacant from March 3. It is seen that there will be competition between these six candidates for these two posts. Since the government can make whomever it wants and not on the basis of priorities, it cannot be said that this person will become the current deputy governor.

Dr. Prakash Kumar Shrestha, Executive Director of the Ministry of Finance, Dev Kumar Dhakal, Executive Director of the Banking and Financial Institutions Regulation Department, Nilam Dhungana, Executive Director of the Public Debt Management Department, Bhuvan Kandel of the Payment System Department and Bam Bahadur Mishra are among the candidates for the post.
