Kathmandu. On Monday, the second day of the year, the stock market index Nepse has increased by 30.33 points and reached 1965.96 points. The market had declined by 96 points on Sunday.

Of the 12 groups that came into business, all groups except trade, hotels and mutual funds have improved. The trade group declined by 37.33 points, the hotel group by 23.05 points and the mutual fund by 0.02 points. Shares of 202 companies increased by Rs 6.69 billion.

Investors of NIC Asia Bank have become the biggest earners on this day of market growth. The bank's share price has risen 9.90 percent to Rs 777. Similarly, Narayani Development Bank is at the forefront of losing companies. The bank's share price has fallen by 9.87 percent.

Nepal Life Insurance has the highest share turnover. Insurance's share turnover has increased by Rs 728.8 million.
