Kathmandu. Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari has said that digital payment should be promoted now.

 Speaking at the inaugural function of Nepal Clearing House (NCHL) 's Corporate Pay, he said that digital should be given priority over cash in all transactions.

He said that NCHL was opened in the past to increase cash transactions by reducing cash transactions.

Stating that they have had a bad experience in setting up NCHL, he said that now they have to move forward digitally by giving less priority to checks.
