Kathmandu. It is estimated that it will take more than Rs 6.5 billion to restore the economy of Nepal, which is burdened by the effects of Kovid-19. The National Planning Commission has projected that it will cost Rs 665 billion to boost the Corona-dominated economy. The Commission has decided the relief and rehabilitation strategy by analyzing the impact of the epidemic on the economy in the third four months of the Fiscal Year 2076/77 BS.
The five strategies put forward for relief and rehabilitation include transition control and relief, employment, project continuity, new system development and self-reliance growth.
According to him, the total resources for the implementation of each strategy is estimated at Rs. 239 billion for short-term relief and rehabilitation, 285 billion for medium-term and 133 billion for long-term.
