Kathmandu: SBI Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 514.8 million in the second quarter of the current fiscal year. This is 48.55% less than last year. The bank had earned a net profit of Rs 1.7 billion in the same period last year. The bank's distributable profit has also declined significantly by mid-December. Distributable profit decreased by 80.84% to Rs. 141.1 million.
As of mid-January, the bank's net interest income has declined by 43.84% and operating profit by 48.12%. Due to this, the profit seems to have decreased. The bank's deposit mobilization has declined by 1.33% and 6.05% in a year. The bank's earnings per share also declined by Rs 12.19 to Rs 11.50. SBI has a net worth of Rs 171.67 per share.
