Nepal Infrastructure Bank is investing Rs 8.75 billion in three projects

Kathmandu. Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NEFRA) is to invest Rs 8.75 billion in three projects. The total cost of these projects will be Rs. 50.87 billion.

NIFRA is preparing to invest Rs 4 billion in Nyadi Hydropower. The estimated total cost of the project is Rs. 6.2 billion. The main promoter of the project is Nyadi Hydropower Limited.

Similarly, NIFRA is preparing to invest Rs 3 billion in Ncell's service expansion. Ncell has proposed a loan of Rs 30.66 billion with banks for the expansion of services.

The bank is preparing to invest Rs 1.75 billion in the Solukhola hydropower project. The total cost of this project will be Rs. 14.11 billion. Its promoter is Sahas Urja Limited.

A source said that preparations are being made to invest the loan in the said project. NIFRA has so far invested Rs 10.16 billion in nine different projects.
