Kathmandu. Suman Sharma has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sunrise Bank. A meeting of the bank's board of directors on Wednesday decided to appoint banker Sharma as CEO for four years.

He was earlier the Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchhre Bank. Has more than two decades of experience in the banking sector.

Sunrise Bank CEO Janak Sharma Poudyal had resigned from the post only on Tuesday. Accepting Poudyal's resignation, the bank has appointed Sharma as its new CEO.
