Kathmandu. Nilam Timsina Dhungana has been appointed as the first woman Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Dhungana was the head of the public debt management department as the third executive director.

Dhungana is the first woman deputy governor in the history of Nepal Rastra Bank. V.S. Timsina, who started her career at NRB on December 7, 2008, has a doctorate in management. She was promoted to the post of Executive Director of Rastra Bank on March 9, 2008.
