Kathmandu. Dr. Neelam Dhungana Timsina has become the first woman Deputy Governor of Nepal. He has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank by the cabinet meeting. At the same time, she has become the first deputy governor of Nepal.
So far, no woman has been the Deputy Governor of NRB. Dr. becoming the Deputy Governor of the National Bank. Timsina has succeeded in writing her name in the history of Nepali banking.
She is involved in management and finance and has a doctorate in banking system.
She is currently the only female executive director at NRB. She started her career at NRB on December 7, 2008. She was promoted to the post of Executive Director of NRB on March 9, 2008.
She is currently in the National Debt Management Department. Earlier, she was under internal audit. Timsina, who has a permanent home in Jhapa, is the third executive director in the list.
