IME Co-operative awarded the Highest tax payer Co-operative

athmandu. IME Co-operative Service Limited has been awarded the highest income tax filing among the early cooperatives in Nepal. The Department of Cooperatives has honored the organization for paying the highest tax in the fiscal year 2076/07.

The department presented the award to IME Co-operative during a special program organized on the occasion of the 64th Cooperative Day.

Minister for Land Management Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Dr. Shivamaya Tumbahangphe presented the award to Chairman Yogeshwar Sharma Dhakal on behalf of the organization. Chief Executive Officer of IME Co-operative Services Limited Arjun Sharma Poudel and Board Secretary Sagar Dhakal were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Dhakal expressed satisfaction over the government's acceptance of cooperatives as one of the main pillars of the economic sector. In addition, Chairman Dhakal pledged that the organization would continue to enhance its identity in the coming days.

IME Co-operative Service, headquartered in Kantipath, Kathmandu, has been providing cooperative services through 15 branches across the country.
