Kathmandu. The Ministry of Health and Population has estimated that 300,000 people in Nepal will be infected with Kovid-19 by next July.

The ministry said that the infection rate of the UK variant of Covid-19 is high and the infection rate is expected to be high in the next three months as the UK variant is now available in Nepal.

It is estimated that out of 300,000 infected people, 60,000 need to be treated in a hospital, 30,000 to 35,000 need oxygen and 15,000 need an intensive care unit (ICU).

In the variant seen last year, one infected person can move to four or five others, but in the current variant, one person can move from 40 to 70 people.
