Kathmandu. Upasana Poudel has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of United Insurance Company (Nepal) Limited for the next four years. She has become the first woman chief executive officer of the insurance sector. At the same time, at the youngest age of 34 years, she has succeeded in being reinstated in that dignified position.

Having more than a decade of work experience and completing an MBA from Delhi University in neighboring India, she has entered the field of insurance business in India.

She was the Acting Chief Executive Officer of United Insurance Company. Satisfied with his performance, the company has appointed him as the Chief Executive Officer.
