Kathmandu, Himalayan Bank Limited and e-commerce site Daraj have reached an agreement to provide discounts to the bank's customers when purchasing goods from the online site.

Under the agreement, Himalayan Bank customers will be able to get a discount of up to Rs 155 or a maximum of Rs 500 when purchasing any goods by paying in advance from their drawers on Thursday with their credit or prepaid cards.

The bank has made arrangements to provide discounts when purchasing goods from drawers in order to promote digital banking to protect its customers from the dire situation of Corona epidemic spreading in the country. Customers are expected to benefit as they will come to the same house and get discounts when buying goods from drawers, the bank said.
