Kathmandu. The class 12 examination is scheduled to be held in the third week of July. The exam, which was scheduled to start on June 10, was postponed due to the Corona epidemic.

The National Examination Board has sought permission from the Ministry of Education to conduct the examination in August. Chairman of the board Prof Dr Chandra Mani Poudel said that permission has been sought to conduct the examination in the third or fourth week of July.

He said that permission was sought as the rate of corona infection was declining and the environment was conducive for conducting examinations.

He said that the board has already started the necessary preparations for the examination. According to him, the board is preparing to take 100 percent written test.
