A landslide has fallen on an ambulance that was meant to save the sick. The patient died in the accident. A landslide has hit an ambulance carrying a patient in Madi village of Kaski district.

An 83-year-old Goma Adhikari died in a landslide on an ambulance carrying patients from Madi Gaonpalika-9 Mugribensi to Thumsikot.

The ambulance driver Subash Adhikari was injured in the accident, said Madi Village Chairman Ved Bahadur Gurung.

The officer who died in the landslide had been showing symptoms of corona infection for four days. His daughter-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter were found to be corona positive.

The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment without corona test as he could not walk due to high fever. She fell into a landslide while being taken for treatment. He died on the spot.
