Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Ltd. The 490th meeting of the Board of Directors has appointed Ambika Shrestha as an independent director. Ambika Shrestha, who has more than 25 years of banking experience in banks and financial institutions, entered the banking sector from Standard Chartered Bank Nepal and has also gathered experience up to the then Chief Executive Officer of Supreme Development Bank.

She completed her master's degree in business administration and was a long time member of the Nepal Finance Institution Association / Development Banker's Association. She also worked as a financial advisor to various national and international organizations.
