CEDB Hydropower's profit increased by 110.59 percent

Kathmandu: CEDB Hydropower Development Company has made attractive progress in the last fiscal year. The company, which was listed on Nepse after selling its IPO only a few months ago, has increased its net profit by 110.59% to Rs 161.42 million. The company had made a profit of Rs 76.66 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.

 CEDB's significant increase in net profit is due to significant increase in service charges and other revenue. Revenue from service charges has increased by 98.14% to Rs. 189 million. Similarly, other income, which was only Rs 120,000 last year, has now reached Rs 25.35 million.

 Meanwhile, CEDB's share capital has reached Rs 839.41 million after the IPO sale. The reserve is Rs. 266.47 million. The company has invested Rs 200 million in term deposits. Its earnings per share is Rs 19.23 and net worth per share is Rs 131.74.
