Kathmandu. Tulasi Prasad Gautam, as the chief administrator of the Employees' Provident Fund, has been kick out. A meeting of the cabinet on Thursday dismissed Gautam, who is also the chairman of Himalayan Bank.
Gautam The then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Finance Minister Dr Yuvraj Khatiwada had appointed Gautam as the Chief Administrator of the Fund in May 2076 BS.
On behalf of the fund, Gautam is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Himalayan Bank. The process of merging Himalayan Bank and Nepal Invest Bank is being led by Gautam. The merger process of the two banks is underway to conduct integrated business from next October.
