Kathmandu, Asian Development Bank has awarded Laxmi Bank the title of Leading Partner Bank of 2021. The title is under ADB's Trade and Supply Chain Finance Scheme. In collaboration with ADB, the most traded bank is provided. Lakshmi Bank has won the title for the second year in a row.

ADB has been awarding these titles on the basis of various collaborations conducted from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 and in the same period Lakshmi Bank has emerged as the most active partner bank in dealing with various small, medium and large institutions.

Due to the current status of Covid-19, the title was conferred on Laxmi Bank at a virtualized award ceremony. More than 200 partner banks were present at the event in which 25 banks were awarded various titles in 20 categories.
