Kathmandu. Social media company Facebook is going to rebrand by changing its corporate name. CEO Mark Zuckerberg will address Facebook's annual Connect conference on October 28, and Facebook will soon change its corporate name. Along with that, the Facebook company will draw a dividing line between its social networking platforms and projects including augmented reality and metavers.

After that, within the new banner of the mother company, along with other products, there will also be an app on the social site Facebook.

Facebook has recently started producing consumer hardware including smart glasses and has deployed more than 10,000 employees for this. A spokesman for the company said that Facebook would be established as a Metaverse company.

Remember, Facebook is not the only company to change its company name. Google established Alphabet as its parent company in 2015. Similarly, Snapchat rebranded itself as Snap Inc. in 2016.
