Kathmandu. The bank has canceled the registration of 172 financial institutions following the merger and acquisition process of banks and financial institutions with the objective of strengthening financial stability.

 By the end of August, 2078 BS, a total of 231 banks and financial institutions have joined the merger / acquisition process. Of these, licenses of 172 organizations have been revoked and 59 organizations have been established.
