Kathmandu. Rajiv Arora has been appointed as the Chairman of Nepal SBI Bank. A meeting of the bank held on Sunday, 2021 October 22 appointed Arora, who has come to represent State Bank of India, as the chairman of the board of directors.
Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed chairman of the bank Arora. Chairman Arora is the Chief General Manager of the International Banking Group at SBI's Mumbai Headquarters. He looks after the SBI Group's strategy, business promotion, operational effectiveness and other aspects of the group.
Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr. Neelam Dhungana Timsina, Deputy Governor Bam Bahadur Mishra, Executive Director Devkumar Dhakal, Executive Director Dr. Gunakar Bhatt, Director Muktinath Sapkota and the current Chairman of Nepal SBI Bank and SBI. Chief General Manager of India B.R.S. Satyanarayana, the directors of the bank were present.
