Kathmandu, Sujita Basnet has been crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2021. He clinched the title after beating 15 other contestants. The winner has been crowned with a diamond-studded crown with Rs 1 million in cash. She was crowned last year's Miss Universe Nepal winner Anshika Sharma.

In the organized grand finale, 10 and 5 out of the best 16 were selected and finally the winner was announced. The winner of the event, which is sponsored by Umang Creation and processing company Oriflame, will represent Nepal in the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Israel on December 12. Winners were also selected in various sub-titles in the program. Singers Indira Joshi, Manshi Agrawal and Sarita Gyawali were among the judges of the competition.

Last year, Miss Universe Nepal 2020 was represented by Miss Universe Nepal 2020 winner Anshika Sharma. Dr. Keshu Khadka was declared fourth runner-up, Pratiksha Mahara Chhetri third runner-up, Raksha Upreti second runner-up and Ninakanta Mandal first runner-up.
