Kathmandu. Anil Kumar Upadhyay has been elected unopposed as the chairman of the Nepal Bankers Association (NBA), an umbrella organization of commercial banks.He is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Agriculture Development Bank.

It is said that Upadhyay automatically became the chairman after no other CEO claimed for the chairmanship. The official announcement of the chairperson will be made on November 8. It is understood that the decision of the vice president and members of the association will be taken on November 8. Anupama Khunjeli, CEO of Mega Bank, is the vice-president of the association.
