Kathmandu. Nepal Bandh has been called against the price hike of petroleum products by Nepal Oil Corporation on Wednesday. The Communist Party of Nepal (Nepal), led by Netra Bikram Chand Biplap, has returned to peaceful politics after abandoning violent activities during the Oli government.

The BJP-led BJP has called for a strike saying that it has increased the prices of essential commodities such as petroleum and food items. According to a press release issued on Thursday, a nationwide protest will be held on November 10 at 3 pm, a propaganda and evening masala procession on November 10, a nationwide demonstration on November 11, and a traffic jam on November 11 from 10 am to 11 am. Similarly, Sitthi procession on October 13, Masal procession in the evening and Nepal Bandh on October 12 have been declared.

The statement said that the Government of Nepal has been continuously increasing the prices of essential commodities such as petroleum and food items which are connected with the daily life of the people. We have the fact that this kind of government exploitation has become like an obligation for the people to follow it innocently. Recently, the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene have been increased by Rs 3 per liter, domestic and foreign aviation fuel by Rs 5 per liter and cooking LP gas by Rs 75 per liter.
