Operation 5 New branches of Lumbini Development Bank

Kathmandu. Lumbini Development Bank Limited has inaugurated five more branches from December 6, 2010 with the objective of providing banking services to the customers in different parts of the country. Among the newly opened branches, the 73rd branch is Kathmandu District, Kathmandu Municipal Corporation Ward no.

New Baneshwor Branch at 06 New Baneshwor Chowk, Kathmandu, 74th Branch, Rupandehi District, Tilotta Municipality Ward no. Manigram branch located at 05 Rupandehi, 75th branch as Nawalparasi district Bardaghat municipality ward no. 04, Bardaghat branch Nawalparasi, Dang district Ghorahi sub-metropolitan ward no. 15 B.P. The Ghorahi branch at Chowk is Dang and the 77th branch is Banke district Kohalpur municipality ward no. There are 11 Kohalpur branches located at Saja Chowk.

The new Baneshwor branch of the Development Bank was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Chintamani Bhattarai and Anju Kumari Gupta, Directors of the Development Bank. The Bardaghat branch was jointly inaugurated by Maya Devi Poudel, Deputy Chief of Bardaghat Municipality and Mr. Keshab Khatiwada, Director of the Bank.

The Manigram branch was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Basudeb Ghimire, Chief of Tilotta Municipality and Mr. Naresh Singh Bohara, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. The Ghorahi branch was jointly inaugurated by Narulal Chaudhary, Chief of Ghorahi Municipal Corporation, Tank Singh Budhathoki, President of Dang District Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Pratap Kumar Acharya and Mr. Ram Chandra Sigdel, Managers of the Bank. The Kohalpur branch was jointly inaugurated by Kohalpur Municipality Chief Lut Bahadur Rawat and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. Dasarath Risal.


At present, the development bank is doing business worth Rs 77 billion through 77 branches in all the seven states. Lumbini Development Bank Limited has been providing secure banking services with high level, modern and latest technologies to its nearly 300,000 customers from 77 branches and 17 ATMs in 30 districts across the country under the slogan "Continuous Sahyatra".
