Kathmandu. Prabhu Pay has joined PhonePay Payment Services Limited, which is operated by Prabhu Technology. Prabhupe has joined the PhonePay network after signing a memorandum of understanding between the payment system operator FonPay Payment Service and PrabhuPe, a program run by Prabhu Technology.
Divas Sapkota, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PhonePay and Biki Shahi, Chief Executive Officer of Prabhupe signed the MoU. With this, from now on, Prabhupeka customers will be able to easily pay the amount through PhonePay QR.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PhonePay, Divas Sapkota, said that the collaboration with Prabhupe would further help in building a castleless economy. He hoped that other payment service providers would be added to PhonePay's network in the coming days.
Similarly, Prabhupe's Chief Executive Officer Biki Shahi said that the collaboration with PhonePay was a golden opportunity for them. He said that they will move forward together in the coming days to fulfill their vision of digitizing and making castles.
PhonePay currently has more than 570,000 merchants. According to PhonePay, more than 15 million mobile banking users of banks and financial institutions and payment service providers have been transacting through PhonePay. Similarly, Prabhupe has more than 700,000 customers. Many services including mobile and TV recharge, air ticket, movie ticket can be digitally paid through Prabhu.
