NTC profit increased 18 percent  and EPS reached to 52

Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has made a net profit of Rs. 3.89 billion. According to the company's public financial statements, profits have increased by 18.50 percent this year. The company had earned a net profit of Rs 3.28 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

The company had earned Rs 17.72 billion in sales till mid-January of the last fiscal year and Rs 19.20 billion in the same period of the current fiscal year. The company's total revenue grew 6.87 percent during the period under review. Similarly, the company's reserve fund has increased by 5.22 percent.

Along with the increase in profit, the earnings per share of the company has also increased. During the review period, the company's revenue increased from Rs 43.86 paise to Rs 8.11 paise and reached Rs 51.97 paise. As of mid-December, the company's price-to-earnings ratio stood at 26.76 times, with a net worth of Rs 623.89 per share.

Similarly, the total income of the company up to the second quarter of last year (mid-January 2077) was Rs. 20.57 billion in the current fiscal year. And. By the same period (mid-December 2078), the total income was Rs. 1.41 billion 32.63 million (i.e., 6.87 percent) to Rs. 21.98 billion 91.88 million.
