According to the Nepal Bankers Association, the deposits of commercial banks have increased by Rs 1 billion in the period from January 13 to February 20. As of Saturday, February 13, there was a deposit of Rs 4.311 trillion in commercial banks. The deposit collection has increased to Rs 4.312 trillion in commercial banks as of March 20.

Similarly, credit flow also appears to have increased modestly during this period. The credit flow of commercial banks has increased by Rs. 4 billion in the period from January 13 to March 20. According to the association's data, commercial banks have disbursed Rs 4.159 trillion as of March 20. Earlier, the banks had disbursed Rs 41.55 trillion as of February 13.
