Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has given final approval for merger of Womi Microfinance Financial Institution Limited and Suryodaya Microfinance Financial Institution Limited. The company has informed through Nepse that the NRB has given final approval for the merger on 5 falgun 2078.
The two companies are about to merge to exchange 1: 1 shares. The way has been opened for the companies that had entered into a preliminary merger agreement on September 3 to merge after the final approval of the National Bank.
The repayment capital of Womi Microfinance is Rs. 494.33 million while Suryodaya Microfinance's Rs. 297.6 million 51 thousand. This year, Suryodaya Microfinance and Womi Microfinance have distributed 20 percent bonus shares in the same proportion.
