Kathmandu. Rabina Deshraj Shrestha, Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mega Bank Nepal has been decorated. In a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan, President Vidyadevi Bhandari conferred the award on Acting CEO Shrestha.

The Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers had announced to give decoration to Shrestha on behalf of the banking sector on the occasion of Constitution Day 2078 BS.

Wednesday's meeting of the board of directors of Mega Bank also gave him the responsibility of acting CEO. Acting CEO Shrestha has been working at Mega Bank since its inception. She has previously won four international awards, including the Asia-wide 21st Century Golden Phoenix Award, and many other awards and honors in the banking and social sectors.

He has been working in the banking sector of Nepal for 31 years and is a banker with special interest in business and rural banking. Shrestha started her career at Madan Teresa's Home for the Old and Children in Kolkata, India and later worked at Standard Chartered Bank, Nabil Bank.
