Nabil Bank's distributable profit has declined

Kathmandu. Nabil Bank's profit has decreased by about 9 percent till mid-April of the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2078/79. Compared to mid-April last year, the bank's profit has decreased in the current fiscal year.

The bank had made a profit of Rs 3.67 billion in the third quarter of last fiscal year, but declined by 8.91 percent to Rs 3.35 billion in the corresponding period of the current fiscal year. The bank's own interest income has increased.

Similarly, the company's distributable profit has also declined. The distributable profit of the bank has decreased by Rs. 1.63 billion to Rs. 2.16 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year from Rs. 3.80 billion in the same period last year.

Similarly, the amount of reserve fund has also decreased. The bank had deposited Rs 15.69 billion in the reserve fund till the quarter of last fiscal year, but it has decreased in the same period of the current fiscal year. The amount decreased to Rs. 14.53 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company's bad debts have also increased. Bad debt has increased from zero point 48 percent in the third half of last fiscal year to 1.14 percent in the same fiscal year. The bank's earnings per share is Rs 24.39 and net worth per share is Rs 190.
